Debi
Makes me ready for vacation!!!
gorgeous view..that is my dream view, from my dream retirement home :)
I have no idea??? I am from Illinois - Chicago and never saw a palm tree until I moved to California in1979... Love to know where in Illinois this is...
Hi Debi...we actually do have some hilly areas in Northern Illinois, one of them being the beautiful Bull Valley area which is near Woodstock, McHenry, Crystal Lake and Wonder Lake. It is a beautiful area carved out by glaciers. We also have so many beautiful waterways. I really took this last summer in IL!
Trish, I hear you...makes me ready for summer, or at least spring!
Konnie...I love the water and specialize waterfront homes, also! We have many lakes and waterways in Northern Illinois, including the Fox River and Chain of Lakes to live on and enjoy.
Joanne....I really DID take this in Northern IL;-) I bet you have many more in CA, though!
Hi Debra, We have a garden center owner who has a sense of wimsy in in the Ann Arbor area. He trucks in many palms & plants them along the street. He has done this for the last 3 summers. It's a real treat to drive by & see them!
Hi Marian! I bet that is so pretty, I just love Palm trees! What does he do with them when winter comes?
That is as unusual as seeing a palm tree in Colorado! I have no idea where this is, I have only been to Chicago, on vacation, once.
Debra Lovely shot, however I somehow can't imagine this as a type of tree that would be found in Illinois.
Hi Cheryl...yes, I know it IS unusual to see Palm Tree in Northern Illinois!
Jennifer, I agree! ;-)
Ok...here's a hint....it's on the water;-)
Is it that one of those fake palm trees that the cell phone companies use to hide their cell site antennas in? LOL
Dear Russel....not exactly but there is a hint of "you are getting warmer" in your guess;-)
