Positive Market News!

Positive Market News!   Isn't it about time?

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal 5/6/2008 written By CYRIL MOULLE-BERTEAUX, "The Housing Crisis is OVER"!

So...for you buyers who have been fence sitting....I would advise you to think about getting off the fence and buy soon

We never know that the market has truly bottomed out until it shows signs of being on it's way back up, that appears to be happening very soon.

If you are speculating and trying to time your purchase to get the best deal you can at the bottom of the market, it may be the right time for you to jump in.

If you wait to make SURE that the market has bottomed out....well, we will only know that when things start changing and at that point, you will have missed the low point of the market and the best deals.  There are so many well priced properties and motivated sellers out there...it really is a great time to buy, in my opinion.

Debra - what most of the "pundits" and "commentators" in the media forget is that a house is a person's home - and not only an investment. Buyers should view Real Estate in it's proper perspective.

The positive news is starting to appear in several places now... I was recently interviewed by a news media company- they confirmed that they're seeing more positive reports from many parts of the country.

Now that the Fed is a bit more concerned with inflation we have a brief window of low prices and low rates... it will be interesting to see what the coming months have in store for us.

I agree, Chuck....this may be a brief window which is good news for sellers and not so good news for buyers wanting to buy at the low end of the real estate market.
