We fought back, our family no longer has credit cards! We have a mortgage and 2 small car loans and that is it. It is actually quite liberating! If we don't have the money, we don't buy it, really makes you think about what you want versus what you need.
Corrine, that is a great policy to have. A lot of debt can really weigh you down and it is great you got out from under it, good for you:-) I think that is the key to watching spending...."what you want vs. what you need".
