How is the current market in Fox Lake?
The town of Fox Lake is in Lake County and is on the beautiful Chain of Lakes. Here are a couple of fall pictures I'd like to share with you that I took from my boat last season.
As of this morning, per MRED MLS, for the past 3 months:
We currently have 84 Single Family homes on the market in Fox Lake that are active and available.
They have been on the market for an average of 542 days. When you look at this long market time in Fox Lake, you have to take into account that there are also many waterfront homes on the market figured into this average. The waterfront homes for sale do appeal to a smaller share of the market and a certain type of buyer. These homes tend to have a longer than average market time because they only appeal to smaller niche market. There are some GREAT waterfront buys now on the Fox River and Chain of Lakes! It is a fabulous time to purchase a waterfront property now. Anyway, that skews the numbers a bit in Fox Lake.
The average list price is $302,698 for the available homes for sale in Fox Lake, IL.
During the past 3 months, 9 Single Family homes in Fox Lake have successfully closed with the help of their Realtors. They took an average of 166 days on the market to be SOLD.
The average list price of the SOLD Single Family homes in Fox Lake is $178,100 and the average SOLD price is $169,989.
So, on the average Single Family homes in Fox Lake have been getting an average of 95% of their list prices, with the help of their Realtors, which is GREAT news!
Heading Towards Route 12 Bridge from Pistakee Lake into Nippersink Lake on the Chain of Lakes, Fox Lake, Pistakee Lake, Meyers Bay, IL!
We currently have 113 Attached homes on the market in Fox Lake that are active and available.
They have been on the market for an average of 225 days.
The average list price of the attached homes such as condos and town homes for sale in Fox Lake is $148,281.
During the past 3 months, 9 Attached homes for sale in Fox Lake have successfully closed with the help of their Realtors. They took an average of 158 days on the market to get SOLD.
The average list price of the SOLD Attached homes in Fox Lake is $116,145 and the average SOLD price is $108,883.
So, on the average Attached homes in Fox Lake have been getting an average of 94% of their list prices, with the help of their Realtors.
